About Dark Templars of Artemis

Dark Templars is a Runes of Magic Guild that plays PvE on the Artemis server. We decided against having lots of rigid requirements. We are a young level 7 guild with a castle, requirements to join are:

 1. You log on and play... members must log in and play a few times each month (minimum) (or let officers know you will be gone for a bit) (we will release regular members after 4 wks of not logging in at all, New Recruits will be released after 2 weeks of not logging in at all.

2. Be respectful to all, and helpful to all members..

3. While we have no age requirement we do require a certain maturity level.. (some 12 year olds may have it, while some 50 year olds may not)

4. This rule has been suspended until further notice,, all levels are currently welcome..  Please do not add new alts until they hit at least level 25 Lastly,, we now have a minimum level requirement of 25. This means that from this point on we will not be adding players under level 25. it does not mean that we will be removing any current members because of their low level.  (Priest primaries of any level are always welcome)

(The above rule will be reinstated when we reach about 70% capacity)

Thats it,, we want to keep a "drama free" relaxed atmosphere while helping eachother progress through the game. Welcome to The Dark Templars and see you on soon!!

Guild Rank Advancement

by MistressOfDeath13, 25 days ago

This post will mostly be addressing those who wish to advance to the rank of officer but will also include information on the ranks below it. To advance to the rank of Member you must apply for the guild ON THIS SITE. To become a Recruiting Member after having applied for the guild, you will have a one week probationary period before you will be advanced to this rank. Senior Member requirements are having been in the guild for at least three months, and have enough experience in game to provide new members/players with advice and assistance. They also will have to of contributed a reasonable amount (not necessarily the most) to the guild resources with runes, gold, mats etc. before being promoted to this rank. As for becoming an Officer the player will have to have met all above raquirements and ranks. They will also be required to have TeamSpeak AND a funtioning headset. Lastly they will have to apply on this site for Office Rank. On that note I will tell you now that we are currently not seeking Officers for the guild. We only have 45 members at the moment and enough Officers to oversee them. Once enough of the members reach the end levels of the game we will recruit new members and subsequently assign more Officers. Any ranks and/or privilages above Officer will be dicussed privately among the current Officers/VGL/Leader and the member in question.
If you have any further questions contact me or Ameretto.

Thank You,
Vaelanya, VGL

Guild Castle

by MistressOfDeath13, 25 days ago

A few people here have questions about the castle and what we will be doing with it next, this will explain the next several goals and why: Currently the plan is to build a Library, a Stable and the Drill Grounds. A library will enable the player to rid themselves of debt gained from player death simply by setting them selves in the guild castle and using the library as you would the forge, field and lumberyard. Very useful if you are going afk and need to get rid of your debt. The stable can be used to give a temporary boost in mount speed. Basically it is like the cash shop mount speed potions but you only pay for it once and it does not cost diamonds. Lastly, the drill grounds will allow the player to play ,mini-games for rewards such as experience points. Both the stable and the library are required for us to build the drill grounds and all three will require 2500 guild runes to build for a grand total of 7500 runes. So donate them as soon as you get them. As for other advancements like upgrading the field, forge and lumberyard, they are last on the list but yes we WILL want to upgrade them asap, as well as adding crafting equipment so you can basically make the castle your one stop shop. So please be patient and help get those runes in.

Thank You,
Vaelanya VGL

Ethics of Looting (Re-revised)

by MistressOfDeath13, 25 days ago

OK then.. since we've now have had several discussions on this subject and everyone who has replied to the previous post I had written seems to disagree with it or doesn't think it's clear enough, here you go: When we are running the high level instances (i.e. clops, kalins, etc.) we gernerally have a specific purpouse for doing so, THE LOOT, right? If anyone who is in the party is looking for specific drops, whether it be a set piece, a weapon or a stat, go ahead and say sometihing to the party, that way we can discuss the general "game plan" pertaining the particular instance we are about to enter. I want to make sure we have ABSOLUTELY no problems with who gets what. In the end, if you are running a caster through the instance please only roll on caster items/stats, tanks only roll on tank items/stats, etc... If more then one of these types of characters is running the instance then they will have to roll against eachother. Also, if a piece drops that nobody is particuarly interested, it is acceptable to greed it even if it does not pertain to your class and want to use it to make Mana Stones or whatever else... If in the end you are still not sure how to roll discuss it again with the party before rolling.

Thank You,
Vaelanya VGL
P.S. If you still have yet further questions/commments please ask me
